How it works

Four steps. No surprises.

You tell us the event. We check with authorised providers, quote openly and confirm everything in writing.

Make a request

The four steps

  1. A table set for dinner in a dimly lit restaurant

You tell us what you're after.

Message your WhatsApp line, use the form or email. A line or two is enough.

  2. The Meydan Racecourse grandstand in Dubai, lit up at night

    We check with authorised providers.

Organisers, sponsors and official hospitality partners. An honest yes or no first.

  3. Close-up of a watch tourbillon behind a dark blue dial

    You receive a clear quote.

Actual cost and any taxes, in writing. No service fee or markup.

  4. Rows of empty red velvet seats either side of a red-carpet aisle

    You confirm, we arrange.

Nothing is booked until you approve. We confirm everything in writing.

How does The Velvet Key work?

You tell us the event, by WhatsApp, form or email; a line or two is enough. We check with organisers, sponsors and official hospitality partners and give you an honest yes or no. You receive a written quote with the actual cost of what we arrange and any taxes, with no service fee or markup. Nothing is booked until you approve it in writing.

Authorised means the organiser, a sponsor, an official hospitality partner or a seller they authorise. Never touts, never the grey market.

In India you pay from your prepaid balance or when you approve.

How we work

Quiet, careful, honest.

  • Honest about limits.

If we can't arrange it properly, we say so.

  • Quoted openly.

Every cost in writing, before you decide.

  • Authorised channels only.

    No touts, no grey-market tickets.

  • One person owns your request.

Start to finish. What you tell us stays private.

Questions

Is The Velvet Key a ticket reseller?

No. We arrange access through organisers, sponsors and authorised hospitality providers. We do not buy public ticket inventory to mark it up, and we never use touts or grey-market tickets. If we cannot arrange something properly, we say so rather than promise access we don't have, and every cost is quoted in writing first.

What if you can't get what I ask for?

We will tell you directly. We would rather say an event is out of reach than promise it and let you down.

What does a request cost?

Only the actual cost of what we arrange. Tickets and hospitality are at cost; a dinner, stay or delivery is the item plus logistics, at cost. We add no service fee and no markup. You get a written quote showing each item and any taxes first, and nothing is booked until you approve it.

How do I pay?

Not on this website. Membership fees are paid in rupees, by any method that suits you. For requests in India, you either pay from a prepaid balance you keep with us or pay when you approve a written quote, by bank transfer or UPI. Events abroad are paid differently, as our Terms set out. We never ask you to change payment details over chat.

How fast will you reply?

Access members: a reply within 4 hours, from 9am to 9pm every day, or by 11am the next day outside those hours. Signature members: a reply within 1 hour, from 7am to 11pm every day, or within 2 hours overnight. Having real options ready takes a little longer, because it means checking availability with authorised providers.

I'm not in Delhi NCR. Can you still help?

Yes. We serve members across India. Requests, quotes and confirmations are handled by WhatsApp, email and phone, so where you live does not change how we work. Whether we can arrange a particular event always depends on the event and the provider.

How does the day of the event work if you arrange it remotely?

Before the day, you receive written confirmation with timings and entry details, and your e-tickets or passes wherever the provider issues them. You get a named point of contact for the day and the provider's contact details where relevant. Your membership's reply times apply throughout.

Can you arrange events abroad?

Yes, on request, including Wimbledon. Payment for events abroad works differently from India, and our Terms explain how. Travel documents and visas are yours to manage.

What if I need to cancel or change plans?

Before you approve a quote, you can decline it at no cost. Once booked, the provider's terms apply, and many tickets can't be refunded or transferred. We explain those terms in writing before you book. If a provider refunds, we pass it on within 7 business days. If we can't deliver for reasons within our control, we refund what you paid us for that item. Our Terms have the detail.

How do you handle privacy and sensitive requests?

Quietly, by default. One person handles your request, and providers see only what they need to book it, such as attendee names. We never name clients publicly or use your details in marketing without written permission, and we don't sell them. We sign an NDA on request. Ask us any time to see or delete your details. We send The Velvet Letter only if you leave that box ticked or sign up for it. See our Privacy Notice.

Who is behind this?

A small, founder-run desk based in Delhi NCR, serving members across India. Email us at sales.velvetkey@gmail.com if you would like to know more.
